    Angle: 86°
    V-Opening:10 mm
    Height: 150 mm
    Load:1000 kN/m max.
    Material:42CrMo, 650 - 800 N/mm

    Die Feature
Single V tooling and double V tooling has only one or two tooling grooves, which is very common in CNC press brake and has high precision. Multi-V lower toolings are mostly square toolings with multiple tooling grooves on four surfaces of different sizes. The advantage is that there are many tooling grooves and it can adapt to the bending of various thick plates.

  • Air Bending Force
  •
    Air bending force
Required press force at 90° air bending, force in ton/mtr.

The charts below give the appropriate tonnage to air bend mild steel.

    Bending force for other metals:
Soft aluminium Tons per unit length x 50%
Aluminium alloys heat treated Tons per unit length x 100%
Stainless Tons per unit length x 150%

  • Description
  • SINGLE V DIE

    1. Simple Structure and Wide Applicability

    • Features a single V-shaped groove, suitable for use with various types of press brakes (hydraulic, mechanical, and electric).

    • Compatible with carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and other materials, making it ideal for industries such as construction, machinery, automotive, and home appliances.

    2. Multiple V-Groove Sizes for Different Material Thicknesses

    • The width of the V-groove affects the bending angle and required bending force. Common V-groove sizes range from 6mm to 100mm, suitable for materials from 0.5mm to 10mm and thicker.

    • Standard sizing recommendations:

      • Thin sheets (≤2mm): Use 6V-12V dies.

      • Medium thickness (2-6mm): Use 16V-30V dies.

      • Thick sheets (6mm and above): Use 40V and larger dies.

    3. Precision Bending and Reduced Springback

    • High-precision machining ensures consistent bending angles and minimizes springback, improving product accuracy.

    • Suitable for air bending, bottom bending, and coining processes.

    4. Durability and High Load Capacity

    • Made from high-strength alloy steel, with quenching, nitriding, and chrome plating treatments to ensure high wear resistance and load capacity.

    • Suitable for medium to low bending force requirements, with some versions capable of handling up to 1000 tons or more of bending force.

    5. Strong Compatibility and Support for Automation

    • Compatible with major press brake brands like WILA, AMADA, TRUMPF, LVD, Bystronic.

    • Supports mechanical clamping, hydraulic clamping, and automatic tool changing (ATC) systems, improving production efficiency.

    6. Cost-Effective with Low Maintenance Costs

    • Simple structure makes it cost-effective and provides excellent value for money, making it a common choice for industrial bending applications.

    • Easy to maintain, with the option to re-grind or refurbish the die to extend its service life and reduce replacement costs.
