    Punch FEature
    1. Most tools can be easily loaded by a single operator.
    2. Easy to store.
    3. All sectionalised tools come pre-cut in nine different pieces.
    4. Most sectionalised punches include two ear pieces (horns).
    5. Punches are induction hardened, to 45-50 HRC but 55-60HRC is available for every punch in the tooling line.
    6. Special Tooling available.

PUNCH SECTION LENGTHS: 100mm LEFT EAR / 100mm RIGHT EAR / 10mm / 15mm / 20mm / 40mm / 50mm / 200mm / 300mm Note: Special lengths are available at additional cost, just select the standard length and ask us to cut to your requirements.
    Die Feature
Single V tooling and double V tooling has only one or two tooling grooves, which is very common in CNC press brake and has high precision. Multi-V lower toolings are mostly square toolings with multiple tooling grooves on four surfaces of different sizes. The advantage is that there are many tooling grooves and it can adapt to the bending of various thick plates.

    DIE SECTION LENGTHS:100mm / 100mm / 10mm / 15mm / 20mm / 40mm / 50mm / 200mm / 300mm Note: Special lengths are available at additional cost, just select the standard length and ask us to cut to your requirements.

    Air bending force
Required press force at 90° air bending, force in ton/mtr.

The charts below give the appropriate tonnage to air bend mild steel.

    Bending force for other metals:
Soft aluminium Tons per unit length x 50%
Aluminium alloys heat treated Tons per unit length x 100%
Stainless Tons per unit length x 150%

  • Description
  • Protection and Stiffening for Component Edges
In applications where full hemming is impractical, Joggle Dies are used near the edge of a panel to create a smooth, recessed lip. This technique effectively covers or softens the otherwise sharp, cut edge, enhancing user safety. Furthermore, the Z-shape itself adds a degree of edge reinforcement and stiffness to the component, which is particularly beneficial for large, thin-gauge sheet metal fabrication panels like equipment doors or access hatches.

    Compensating for Material Thickness Variation
While designed for specific material gauges, the offset created by Z-Style Dies can be subtly utilized to absorb minor variations in material thickness or coating build-up between different production batches. By ensuring the offset dimension is slightly generous, the joint can still achieve a stable, clean overlap, facilitating smoother assembly and minimizing the scrap rate that might otherwise occur due to slight material tolerance inconsistencies.
