    Punch FEature
    1. Most tools can be easily loaded by a single operator.
    2. Easy to store.
    3. All sectionalised tools come pre-cut in nine different pieces.
    4. Most sectionalised punches include two ear pieces (horns).
    5. Punches are induction hardened, to 45-50 HRC but 55-60HRC is available for every punch in the tooling line.
    6. Special Tooling available.

    Die Feature
    Single V tooling and double V tooling has only one or two tooling grooves, which is very common in CNC press brake and has high precision. Multi-V lower toolings are mostly square toolings with multiple tooling grooves on four surfaces of different sizes. The advantage is that there are many tooling grooves and it can adapt to the bending of various thick plates.

  • Managing Friction and Heat
    Despite the single-hit action, the moment the material is compressed into the two bends creates concentrated friction on the inner "shoulders" of the Joggle Die. Premium Press Brake Tooling utilizes specific surface treatments or coatings on these critical points to minimize friction-induced heat and wear. Effective thermal management extends the functional tooling lifespan and ensures consistent performance, reducing the need for frequent tool maintenance.

    Achieving Sharp Z-Bends
    When using Joggle Tools, the two small, closely spaced bends are formed under intense compression. The tool geometry effectively pushes the limits of the material's Minimum Bend Radius (MBR) without causing fracture. The controlled, simultaneous deformation allows for the creation of sharper internal radii than might be possible with standard sequential air bending, achieving a very tight and structurally sound Z-profile for optimal fit and finish.
