Freight：

A handling/restocking fee will be applied to all products returned for credit. A return authorization number and shipping instructions must be obtained in advance before an item can be returned.

Description
Reducing Friction and Adhesion

For demanding applications, our shearing blades can be treated with advanced surface coatings (e.g., TiN, TiCN, or proprietary polymer coatings). These coatings significantly reduce the coefficient of friction and prevent material adhesion or "sticking," which is common when shearing soft metals like aluminum or brass. Reduced friction means lower cutting forces, less heat generation, and cleaner edges, ultimately extending the interval between sharpening cycles and preserving the integrity of the shear knife surface.

Optimizing Cutting Speed

High-speed shearing operations can lead to significant heat generation at the cutting edge, which can compromise the blade's temper and hardness. Our specialized shearing blade materials and designs are chosen to dissipate heat efficiently. Operators should also optimize cutting speed and ensure proper lubrication (where applicable) to minimize thermal stress. By controlling thermal build-up, we prevent rapid dulling and ensure the edge integrity of the shear knife is maintained for prolonged periods of continuous, heavy-duty use.
